Prayer Requests (Updated Dec. 28):

1) Pray for our Members; please pray for this new church and these new Members, ask God to protect us from the schemes of the enemy and ask God to glorify himself through all we do.

2) Pray for Central Florida as we continue recover from Hurricane Milton; the hurricanes in October had big impact in some places. Please ask God to comfort those families that have lost loved ones and pray that God would use this tragedy as means of pointing unbelievers back to himself; pray that our region would recover quickly.

3) Pray for more evangelism opportunities; ask God to give us opportunities to share the gospel with unbelievers in our community and ask Him to soften the hearts of those unbelievers we’ll talk to and interact with.

4) Pray for Cheri K. (Malaina’s mom); Cheri and her husband (Malaina’s parents) are Members at Horizon City; Cheri, suffered a significant brain injury in October; her recovery is likely going to be a very long hard road.

5) Pray for Bridget M.; she is one of our Members and she recently lost her father; praise God for her father’s legacy of many years of gospel preaching and please pray that God will comfort her family; ask the Lord to give them wisdom and grace as they navigate all the logistics that come in the wake of losing family members.

6) Pray for Caleb D.; he is one of our Members and his family lives in Cedar Key, FL (2+ hrs north); their town was devasted by Hurricane Helene; pray for his family and his home church.

7) Pray for Malaina’s pregnancy; “Ortiz family of five” coming summer 2025. Pray for baby and mama.

8) Please pray for Kenny’s mother; Kenny’s mom has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s and the family is in process of moving into long-term end-of-life care.

9) Pray for Kenny’s PhD process; pray that God would give Kenny the grace he needs to be focused and disciplined in this season as he finishes up dissertation.

10) Pray for a music/worship leader; music is a big part of the Sunday worship gathering, but we currently do not have a music ministry leader. Please pray that God would bring us the right person (or persons) to help lead our music ministry.

11) Pray for salvations; we had a few unbelievers at our first public gathering this past Sunday. Pray that God would work in their hearts and draw them to himself.

12) Pray for our relationship with Sunridge Elementary School; we’re planning to rent Sunridge Elementary School for weekly services, and God has begun to give us favor with leaders there. Please pray that we’ll have a great relationship with the school and that God would give us opportunities to serve them; we want to be more than just a tenant, please pray towards those ends.

13) Pray that God would bring us Elders; we are fiercely committed to a plurality of Elders, so please ask the Lord to bring us qualified men to share the pastoral load.

14) Pray for our finances; we’re in the process of raising a significant amount of money to accomplish what we believe the Lord has called us to do; please praise God with us for the funds that have already come in and please ask God to continue to provide. Also, please consider a financial gift.

15) Pray for our recent social media campaigns; ask God to guide those social media ads into the social media feeds of many unchurched and de-churched peoples of our community.
